I'm Brandon, a Minneapolis-based independent lead software engineer.

I've been a tinkerer and maker since a kid, whether it's been building flashlights out of spare 9V batteries and LEDs from Radio Shack, or making little websites for projects in school. I've always had a passion for live sound and radio, starting with running the mixing board for community musicians in White Bear Lake at age 13, and listening to Minnesota Public Radio (often On Being) on the way there, and (of course, Car Talk) on the way home.

More recently, I've been fortunate to put that mindset to work for clients big and small -- from delivering content authoring tools for large audio and television networks, to making rich visualizations and exploration tools for ed tech startups. At the end of the day, I'm passionate about exploring the limits of what we can do with a couple sensors, a server, a web browser, or a mobile phone.

I've been in client service for the majority of my decade-long career in tech, and it's where I like to be. I love the challenge of understanding a customer's needs, and then working with a team to deliver a solution that exceeds their expectations. I'd love to help you and your team build something great!
